Please help!!! If one number is 6 more than another and the difference of their squares is 144, what are the numbers? I would appreciate it if u could show the work. oh, and I'm suppose to use the equation ax^2+bx+c (if that helps) thx!

should be 1. y = x + 6 2. y^2 - x^2 = 144
