Wilson is 6 years older than Mary. Wilson's age is 10 years less than five times Mary's age. The equations below model the relationship between Wilson's age (w) and Mary's age (m): w = m + 6 w = 5m − 10 Which is a possible correct method to find Wilson's and Mary's ages? Solve w + 6 = 5w − 10 to find the value of w. Write the points where the graphs of the equations intersect the x axis. Solve m + 6 = 5m − 10 to find the value of m. Write the points where the graphs of the equations intersect the y axis.

I love these i can help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

So, try solving each option then, that will help u get ur answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did cant find it worked on it for 30 min

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

ok, show me ur work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im pretty sure its the 3rd ine am i correct??

OpenStudy (triciaal):

how about this w = w therefore m+ 6 = 5m - 10 you have one equation with one unknown solve for m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you @triciaal

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

@triciaal you're probably better at this, I'll let u take over :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and @horsegirl27

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

yw, though i didn't do much :P

OpenStudy (triciaal):

@horsegirl27 sometimes just need to read a bit slower before trying answers great job being willing to help!

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

yeah, thx though
