The diameter is twice the radius. You can do this two ways: 1) Find each diameter by multiplying each radius by 2. Then subtract the diameters. Using this method you need to do 2 multiplications and 1 subtraction. 2) Subtract the radii. Then multiply the result by 2. Using this method, you only do 1 subtraction and 1 multiplication. Both methods will give the same answer.
