A polynomial function is shown below: f(x) = x^3 - x^2 - 9x + 9 Which graph best represents the function? Graph A: http://prntscr.com/6tpb2e Graph B: http://prntscr.com/6tpb8a Graph C: http://prntscr.com/6tpbe2 Graph D: http://prntscr.com/6tpbjk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not B , Definetly not D : its between A And C

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I really don't know how to do this question. How did you rule those out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well , just put the 0 f(0) = 0^3 + 0^2 - 9(0) + 9 f(0) = 9 when x = 0 y = 9 you compare it to the graph

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Then, based on that, I think C should be the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes its C , F(2) = 8 - 4 - 18 + 9 = -5 The graph is C

Thank you!
