Feudalism was the act of a soldier trading their loyalty for a plot of land, this was accomplished through vessels the king had set up, so these soldiers will not be homeless and had a plot of land for themselves. Read Chaucers Canterbury Tales. Its a 12th grade book, but thats how the information was beat into my head hah.
