What does it mean my this? http://prntscr.com/6tqtev, then, here's the graph. Ignore the green angle, it's for something else. http://prntscr.com/6tqud1 Thanks! @chasesoul @TheSmartOne @SparkleStaraa @Hoslos @Safire21

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

OpenStudy (gottennis121):

What about the link? Something wrong? Is it not pulling up?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Translation means to move the figure up, down, left or right. You do that by adding or subtracting to the x or y values in the points (x,y)

OpenStudy (gottennis121):

Yes, I think they want an equation.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@gottennis121 your link had http://prntscr.com/6tqtev, a comma right after it which merged with the link and made it not work.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So you can see they move from (-2,1) to (4,1) That means they added 6 to the x-value to move it to the right

OpenStudy (gottennis121):

Opps, sorry @TheSmartOne :) Thank you. Ok, I think I got it. :) Just gotta see it in my head, then put it to paper. :)

OpenStudy (gottennis121):

For green triangle, would it be (x, y) (5 - x, 2 - y) ? @TheSmartOne, according to my lesson, I think moving left was -, right was +, down is -, and up is +. @CREEPYMLPMASTER @spongebong734

OpenStudy (gottennis121):

@Sparklestaraa

OpenStudy (sparklestaraa):

omg i have absolutely not one clue ;( I'm sorry
