I think it is a: Physical change.
If you slice bread, you break a bond, but if you take and melt a metal, put it in a vat, and let it cool, you make a bond. Both are physical I think.

I personaly think it would be C . Chemical change because When chemical reactions take place, chemical bonds are broken in the reactants and new chemical bonds are formed in the products. It is as a result of these processes that a reaction is overall exothermic (energy is given out to the surroundigs) or overall endothermic (energy is absorbed from the surroundings). So this whole process leads to chemical change.
