Refraction is when light bends and slows down as it enters a material or medium. Regular reflection I believe is also called specular reflection, which is when light beams are all reflection at the same angle. Diffuse reflection is the opposite, where the light beams are reflected in different directions due to the irregularities of the surface. Diffraction is a property of waves where light waves will bend around barriers.
