PLEASE HELP!!!!! “To err is human, to forgive divine.” – Alexander Pope A. Hyperbole B. Alliteration C. Antithesis D. Oxymoron im not to sure what it is someone give me an idea?

OpenStudy (twizttiez):

Hyperbole: exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally. Alliteration:the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words. Antithesis:a contrast or opposition between two things. Oxymoron:a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction ^-^

OpenStudy (godmod360):

Well a Hyperbole is an over exaggeration to portray meaning for example its raining cats and dogs ofcourse not literal but it portrays your meaning, alliteration is when words utilize the same starting sound for example bouncing betty or Dynamic Duo, Oxymoron is a contradictory sentence such as less is more or cruel kindness, finally an Antithesis these are sentences that have two ideas that balance eachother such as give me liberty or give me death
