Which equation could be used to solve the question below? Tirza has b books. Her mom has 37 books and her sister has 26 books. They have 85 books in all. How many books does Tirza have? b - 37 + 26 = 85 b + 37 - 26 = 85 b + 37 + 26 = 85 b - 37 - 26 = 85

C) b+37+26=85

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

well :) We know this Tirza + mom + sister = 85 right? Because when we add the amount of books that all three of them have, they have 85 in total. Since Tirza = b , mom = 37 and sister =26 and total = 85. We get: b + 37 + 26 = 85
