name two types of evidence used to support the theory of evolution. explain how scientist use each type of evidence to provide support for evaluation give one example of each?
Molecular evidence: similar proteins and genes found in closely related species, even if those genes are not used by an organism. Fossil evidence: organisms changing form over time through the fossil record. Direct observation of evolution: Traits in a population can be measured over time, as they change from one generation to the next, evolution occurs because that is the definition of evolution.
You can pick any of the 3.
@jabez177 i picked the last two but i dont know how scientist use each type of evidence to provide support for evaluation or give one example of each.
i dont get this please help i need to turn it in before 12

please help i have a massive headache and im so tired :(
My go to is vestigial structures which are essentially structures that exist in an organism and may have served a purpose at one point, but no longer have any function. Things like leg bones in whales and snakes. In humans, you have the appendix, an organ which has no apparent function. Also, in humans we have what are known as "goose bumps." In hairy mammals, this skin reflex typically occurs in a situation that warrants heightened awareness. This indicates that an ancestor with much more hair who found him or herself in a scary situation would have their hairs stand on end making them appear slightly larger than they actually were which would help against a predator. Does that make sense? If you need more, there is plenty of sea foam about this stuff that you can find with an easy google search, just try searching for "vestigial structures" or "evidence for evolution." I hope that helps, also drink water and eat raw almonds, they both have profound effects on headaches!
lol thanks for the help and also for the headache tip :D
oh also im supposed to have two evidences so i put the vestigial structure one and the fossils one? what is an example of the fossil evidence and how do scientist use it to provide support for evaluation?
