SIMPLE QUESTION! WILL GIVE MEDAL –(5 + (–11.3) would both number in the () be negative because of the - sign but one inside is already negative i forgot this lol

yes
whatever number is bigger. for instance, (-42.3) - 7, the answer would be negative, because the bigger number is negative. but yea, they would both be in parantheses because of the negative sign.
