Hello! I am on FLVS and I am having some trouble with a history lesson. This is not cheating; I want to compare my written answers to others. Here are the journal questions: How did Italy become an official country and what were the positive effects of this? What happened in Europe after Napoleon? What led to German Unification? What were the effects of German Unification?
what grade, Im in FLVS too
I'm in 9th grade world history. I see that a lot of people cheat on this website, but I thought that it would be useful to ask for journal questions.
I just wanted to compare my answers and make sure other people have the same idea. :-)
heh that sounds like an excuse
I actually have my answers now, to all of the questions. I had all the answers when I wrote the problem, just wanted to compare them. I'll post them later, when I have my documents (I am at a library).
Over the next millennium and a half Italy existed as a broken assembly of city-states. These states were conquered and reformed by outsiders and neighbors. In 1816 Italy began a process of reunification through politics and ultimately war with the Austrian Empire. The kingdom of Italy officially came into existence in 1861. After the chaos of WWII the Italian people adopted a democratic form of government. The last king of Italy, Umberto II, abdicated 12 June 1946 starting the present Republic of Italy. This action came after a country wide referendum.
