OpenStudy (bmxlifestyle):

what is the slope of a line that passes through two points -2,1 and 1,4 a -3 b -2 c -1/3 d 1/3

OpenStudy (mrnood):

the slope is the 'change in y' divided by 'change in x' so take the 2 y values and subtract them (4-1) take the 2 x values and subtract them (in the same order) 1 - (-2) divide the first number by the second to get the slope
