I tried answering it and got c but it was wrong and so now I'm stuck

Ya well i tried B first and i got 5.015 and so that was wrong because it has to get to 8. Then i tried D and did .25 times 4 to equal a dollar which means it would take 12 weeks to get to 8 dollars so i thought that was too long. And since A is .05 per week i knew that was wrong too so i went with c
