Check my answer! What number should be added to the expression x^2 + 2x to change it into a perfect square trinomial? A. 1 B. 2 C. 3 D. 4 My answer: A. 1

OpenStudy (dan815):

okay well u see, that you will need a 2x and x^2 no matter what so (X+1)^2 will give you that, now u need to see the constant part (x+1)*(x+1) = x^2+2x+1

Okay, so my answer is correct?
