ok i think that anybody who is not a mod or ambi should not be allowed to jump peoples cases if they are breaking rules because who made it ur place you should just report and move on
not start an argumment on someones post especially if that person didnt even know @Ravenn
We are not the only people who do that. Many other people do the same.
u are an ambi ur allowed i mean non mods or ambis
because why start an argument just because you feel ur opinions matter
Yeah other people can, but Ambassadors are trained to handle situations in a better fashion
We completely understand the rules, and some others may not, so that's why we say for an Ambassador/Mod to handle the situation instead of yourself
Because you possibly might be mistaking something
ok and again ur an ambi all im saying is it should be against the rules to do so i gtg bye
OH I misread. You were saying that they shouldn't be allowed. Well, what if no mods or ambassadors are online/active?
ill come back to this bye
there always are @sammixboo
\(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @sammixboo OH I misread. You were saying that they shouldn't be allowed. Well, what if no mods or ambassadors are online/active? \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\) I get it now.
I think everyone can be trained to act like an ambassador. @EclipsedStar is a nice example. She's not an ambassador but she knows how to handle situations perfectly.
I remeber when @EclipsedStar first came on this site she was giving direct answers and I told her about the coc LOL
I meant purrfectly.
now she is schooling me XP
Yes, I think @EclipsedStar is a wonderful example. She is a great user who I respect very much because she handles situations very well and reasons in very good ways.
Aww thanks guys! ^_^ Yes, I only want the best for OpenStudy as a whole.

Just because a user isn't on a "higher" position, doesn't mean that they can't point out and enforce the rules, @mathsciencehistory. :)
agreed math
everyone is allowed to comment on rule breaking. they are expected to do so in a congenial manner of course.
Yes, what Ami said is the main point I would make: http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct Be Nice Right near the top. That includes when dealing with rues issues.
Me and @confluxepic Were solving user disputes since we were 60 SS. Regular users who help are what make OS a community and not a living nightmare.
I will still avenge direct violators and abusers if I choose to and I may choose to avenge you too.
yea i dont agree with yall someone who has just as much authority as me telling me what i can and cant do ill never listen to them
@mathsciencehistory Actually, this is how it works in life. When someone is new to a community it is usually the other members of the community that tell them the rules. This happens on sports teams, in jobs, and even in class rooms. So why should this site be any different?
lol i get it now im still not gunna listen im not always blatantly stupid about it (just sometimes)
That's right. @Joel_the_boss
I remember those old times. :)
