2) WILL GIVE MEDAL AND FAN!! The big bang theory states that the universe was formed as the result of a huge explosion. According to the theory, what did the universe begin as? a. a huge nebula of gas and dust b. a small, densely packed space c. a supernova d. a black hole

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I may be able to help give me one second..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It states that the universe was in a VERY HIGH density state so its not B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!! @chrissyC.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any time but were not done yet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

were not? @chrissyC.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope we just crossed b out of the answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh right!! @chrissyC.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

xD.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D i think should be crossed out as well because nothing begins after a black hole ...To me there is no possible way that the universe could have started because of a black hole

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya thats what i thought

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When you were reading about this in class do you remember anything about a supernova?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we didnt really do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm think of it this way A supernova is a stellar explosion that briefly outshines an entire galaxy, radiating as much energy as the Sun or any ordinary star is expected to emit over its entire life span, before fading from view over several weeks or months.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So when it mentions sun Its like wait.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the universe was here BEFORE the sun

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So when we took b c and d out what are we left with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great job :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If we get this wrong tell me which one it is and i can do some research and we can learn from our mistakes :)
