water has a boiling point of 100 degrees celsius. Acetic acid has a boiling point of 117.9 degrees celsius. both substances are colorless liquids. How could you use this information to determine which of two unknown substances is acetic acid? a. acetic acid will change color when it is spun in a centrifuge b. mix the substances and then boil the mixture c. filter both substances and look at the particles left behind on the filter d. heat each substance to 100 degrees celsius and check for gas being formed

I think it's D because if you see a substance boil at 100 C , its water, which means the other one is acetic acid. I'm not 100% sure though. :/ @Texture
