well this is referring to WW2 and the axis powers were Germany, Japan, and Italy who all shared expansionary goals and were unified simply to oppose the Allied powers the Allied powers or, United Nations, sought to stop Axis powers expansion and aggression This is very general, but if you need to know something more specific, feel free to ask.
