Well, I view it as an application of the pythagorean theorem. Since the kite is above her head and she's 24 ft from the kite, such kite has a string of 120 ft so we can view it as: |dw:1429141929322:dw| where "x" is the height that has the kite, relative to Seleana's head. So, by the pythagorean theorem: \[(x-6)^2 + 24^2 = 120^2\]
