Graph the linear equation? y= 3x + 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here the graphs, answer hold on

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Well it is using the base formula y = mx + b Where m = slope and b = y-intercept, or where the line crosses the y axis

sammixboo (sammixboo):

First plot your y-intercept, 3

Mehek (mehek14):

should look like this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graphs

Mehek (mehek14):

it says 3x so it is positive

Mehek (mehek14):

meaning the line is going up

Mehek (mehek14):

and +3 means it cuts the y-axis at 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what is it is it pic3

Mehek (mehek14):

no it cuts at 2 not 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hold on brb just give me the answer please i need it.

OpenStudy (amorfide):

draw a table |dw:1429141819299:dw| substitute the x values into the equation y=3x+3 then finish the table by writing your y values then you get sets of coordinates for example when x=-3, y=-6 when x=-2, y=-3 so these coordinates are (-3,-6) (-2,-3) then you will write out all the coordinates you get from the table, then mark these points on a graph then draw a straight line through all points match the graph to your given graphs
