Melinda has $22 and plans to save $10 each week. George has $10 and plans to save $13 each week. In how many weeks will they have the same amount saved? @omar_elboredy

Let the number of weeks to be n then we get 2 equations one for Melinda which will be 22 + 10n and the other for George which will be 10 + 13n after n weeks both values will be equal which means that 22 + 10n = 10 +13n get the 10n to the right hand side and the 10 in the right hand side to the left .. then you get 12 = 3n which you could simply find n by dividing both sides by 3 >> n = 4 weeks Let me know if you got it :)
