i need help desperately with an algebra 2 worksheet please! the worksheet is in the comments.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i remember when i had a worksheet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the paper is way to far for me to see it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my bad. i'll post closer pictures right now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there's so many values on the drawing it's confusing to figure out what the points are.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry i cant do this but i bet @amistre64 could

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay. thank you though.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

tell me what youve considered so far .... looks like a road, water, and a tunnel maybe?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

find a center for the picture, maybe the water line for the x axis, and the center of the arch for the y axis .... then we can pull measures from that refrence point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the drawing is supposed to be a bridge over water. i've considered the arch of the bridge as to be some sort of parobola. i think that where the 20m is is the middle. but i could be wrong, though.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the measurements are immaterial in the general sense, they come into play when you want to actually make an equation from it. in step 1, just draw .. dont try to force it on the xy drid yet .. save that for step 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the only point that i can figure out from it is (0,0). there's so many measurements that it's confusing to find out what the other ones are.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

where are you wanting 0,0 to be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well they want me to create a parabola for the drawing by using three points from the measurements of the bridge, so i want (0,0) to be right in the middle just like in the drawing and have two other points to finish drawing the parabola. |dw:1429154120524:dw|
