OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am denied access to it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AccessDenied !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok give me a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Better?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aha (y) Wait a min I will solve it for U :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

DON'T DO IT FOR HIM

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Engage him

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tell me how to.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah okay so take the first equation solve for y what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give me a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG nooo, i just wanted you to make it y=-5x-21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh see I'm uber confused. ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What next?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The you plug in your answer for y in the second equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So once you have plugged in y you have only 2 variables left in those equations. Now solve for z in the third equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First of all take the first equation : get y from the Left hand side to the right hand side and 21 from right hand side to the left one the you get : y = -5x - 21 Then take the third equation and do same steps with z , then you get : z = -3x -12 Take both of the above equations and plug into the second "middle" one, then you get : 3x + 20x + 84 - 15x - 60 = -8 solving this equation for x then you will get x to be equal to -4 substituting back by this value in the equations of both y and z we got above we obtain values for both y and z which are supposed to be equal to -1 and 0 , Then the answer will be (-4,-1,0) which is D . Let me know if you got it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I totally get it. Thanks omar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are welcome :)
