Okay bruh imma try my best:
you assume that the table lists (x,y) pairs (or ( t , f(t) ) pairs .

you can plot the points

x-intercept means where the curve reaches the x-axis (the horizontal axis)
you can see the x-intercept is at (0,8) and there is probably another one at (0,0) but they did not give us that one.

they say
height f(t), in meters, of the ball above the ground

the height above the ground at t=8 is 0
With that being said, D makes the most sense
