URGENT MEDALS GIVEN PLEASE HELP
prove:tan2θ×cos2θ+cos2θ=1
Hold on. Is this multiple choice?
no i just have to work it out to prove it but i d k how
@Melissa_Something
Simplify the left side first. Sin(20) + cos (20) = 1 because they are ratio identities
Add 0.34202014 and 0.93969262 to get 1.28171276
Since the left side dosent equal 1 this is false
are you sure because i ran it through wolfram alpha to see if it was true or false before i tried to figure it out and it came up equal to one
oh wait it looks wrong on here
No, this is really easy, you just plug it into the calculator ? o.o
\[prove: \tan ^{2}\theta \times \cos ^{2}\theta + \cos ^{2}\theta=1\]
@Melissa_Something this is what it is supposed to look like. Its trigonometry
Oh then yes 1=1 when simplified!
but i cant figure out how to get the problem to equal 1? @Melissa_Something
Ok. Tan^2 (0) will equal 0. Cos(0) =1. One to any power is 1. Mult. 1 by 0 to get 0. Again, Cos(0) is 1 so 0+1^2 and 1 to any power is 1. and 0+1 =1
1=1 :) It's so easy to do on the calculator
I get it now!!!! THANKS!
np :)
