The graph of a system of parallel lines will have no solutions. (1 point) Always Sometimes Never

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its always but i'm not sure

OpenStudy (mrnood):

the solution of a system of equations is where the lines touch each other. where do parallel lines meet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they Never meet

OpenStudy (mrnood):

so there is never a solution (so there is always no solution)

OpenStudy (mrnood):

Beware though...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

always Right?

OpenStudy (mrnood):

some people would consider 2 lines that are the SAME line to be parallel - in which case they touch at all points. My choice would be 'always' no solution. I can't see how you can call 2 lines which are the same line 'two lines'

Ok thanks I have 2 more questions sort of the same can you help me please? @MrNood

OpenStudy (mrnood):
