I believe it is B. Considering that discrnible (my bad if its spelled wrong) means predictable
and painfully is well pain being emitted. But painfully can usually mean inevitable. I'll give you that to think about. :)

i would guess a. far-seeing men would be like someone who can look forward, or guess, and something "painfully seeable" to far-seeing people would be inevitable and awful
