One month Manuel rented 3 movies and 2 video games for a total of $25 . The next month he rented 5 movies and 6 video games for a total of $57 . Find the rental cost for each movie and each video game.

So the steps will be as simple as following : First you denote the videogames to (VG) and movies to (M) So from first part you can get : 3M + 2VG = 25$ ----> (eq.1) And from the second one you can get : 5M + 6VG = 57 ----> (eq.2) by multiplying (eq.1) by 3 we get : 9M + 6VG = 75$ Then subtracting (eq.2) from the result we get : 4M = 18 Then M will be equal to 18/4 which will be 4.5$ and then subs. back into any of two original equations to get VG we will get : VG = 5.75 $ Let me know if you got it :)
