I am doing a performance task project for Algebra III (3). I am doing my project my drawing: an apple with a green leave. I'm scared that I can't get 6 difference equations (line, square root, quadratic, parabola, hyperbola, circle, ellipse, etc.) to create it on the TI-84 calculator (drawing a picture of it).
@dtan5457 @freckles @confluxepic
Nice challenge n it wont be easy...u will need 2 ellipses n 1 parabola to form the apple; then add 2 more parabolae plus 1 more straight line to form the leave... attached is what i drew in MS Paint...sorry it wont give u the eqns but can give u a visual guide on how they should look like. good luck!
@superdavesuper Requirements: 4 different equations = REQUIRED 6 different equations = BONUS (5 points)
@Firejay5 to draw an apple w leave, u will need 6 eqns: apple: 2 ellipses n 1 parabola leave: 2 parabolae n 1 straight line the difficult is in figuring out what those eqns are. u dont REALLY have to draw an apple w leave right? can u do something simple like the olympic sign? |dw:1429234676854:dw| dat will be a lot easier!
@superdavesuper 6 different equations: x x^2 sqrt x |x| logb a = c y = b^x
