use the sum and difference identities to find the exact value of a for the remaining five trigonometric functions. tan a= 1/3 and 0

OpenStudy (perl):

Hi, please show work you have done so far.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no sure what to do to be honest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know theequation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im supposed to find seca cot a sin a csc a cos a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what its not the sum and difference identities sorry it just says identities

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

Not sure what it means by "sum and difference identities" but given tan a = 1/3 = opposite side / adjacent side, u can construct the triangle as such: |dw:1429227679612:dw| u can then calculate sec a, cot a, sin a, csc a and cos a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh makes sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

welcome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with another one?

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

sure i can try but u may get more ppl to help if u create a new post :)
