How at early age you've under some control of an unknown influence leading and others down a road of destruction of reputation and life. I wouldn't do a spell just because we were commanded by G-d to not use spells (because they could be associated with idolatry)

I guess we should define magic, a illusion, delusion used to deceive another, this may vary for slight of hand to controlling another's perception. What some call magic is not really magic because there's actually some physical change which one may not understand. Reality very will may change in some respect but I always go by God is not a author of confusion and there's something we should learn.
