why is it so hard to forgive and forget? im doing a project on poems and this is my question.
because people are egotistical and they think holding a grudge will solve something other killing you slowly and softly to forgive and forget is to stop being so egotistical and people think that if they hold a grudge that person will feel sorry its BS
Feelings are like the color of snow. Snow is white because of the loss of emotions until all is left is delicate shell. Like snow, all that remains of the worlds emotions is a shell encompassed by the path of hatred and sorrow. It is human nature to hold feelings of sorrow, hate, and envy. I follow the ideal that, "An eye for an eye will make the world blind." Unfortunately, not many follow that ideal causing the world's hurt.
It is so hard to forgive and forget because you thought that the one person who hurt you would never hurt you. Even if they promised they wouldn't. It is hard to forgive them, let alone forget what they did. The only thing you will learn is if you don't forgive them, in the end the only one you are hurting is yourself. forget enough to forgive but never forgive enough to forget what it taught you.
all of them
all
it is so easy al;l of the things they said
