(x,y) is a coordinate.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@Kim21

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

To make it reflect across the y-axis you have to multiply the x coordinate by -1. To make it shift 2 units down you have to subtract 2 from the y coordinate.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Do that to every point in the triangle.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

At the end just connect the dots to get the shifted triangle.

so whats the answer ? @confluxepic

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

I'm trying to guide you to the answer. I can't give the answer or that will be a direct answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but did you answer a) or b) yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can explain and then give the answer...thats not direct cause you explained

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@confluxepic

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

It would still be a direct answer if it has no participation from the asker.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to answer a) and b) ?
