approximate each irrational number to the nearest hundredth
i know 12 is between 3 and 4 i dont know the rest of the steps i know the answer but i have to show my work someone please draw out the work!!

You know it is between 3 and 4 so the next step would be to multiply 3.5 * 3.5
Go higher or lower depending on how close your answer is to 12.
3.5 * 3.5 = 12.25
So your next step would be to check 3.4 * 3.4
That will get you to the nearest tenth.
Then do the same thing with the hundredth.
