do you know how the CIs work?
yes but I still have trouble with these problems.
Well, are you able to find the margin of error?
I need help with how to set up the formula.
Did they give you a formula they want you to use or a list of them?
no.
Hmm... the way I have done it requires the number of samples to find the critical value. =/ The CI is the sample plus or minus the margin of error.
Is there just a formula used to find the confidence interval?
Yes, but you are missing information for it... so there must be some other formula they want you to use.
What is missing from this question?
Like I said, the number of samples. But they may have some way around that which I do not remember. It has been a while since I had my statistics class.
No. I am sure there is something I am just not aware of. Without having done stats recently I am just not sure what it is.
ok. thanks for trying though.
