what is the vertex of the parabola given by the equation y=x^2+4 can someone please help me I don't understand parabolas

There are two ways to solve problems like this which one you need :) Graphically or mathematically

You simply plug a zero into the equation then you will get 4 , then the vertex will be : (0,4) this is only applicable for this equation , another solution would be by using differentiation Let me know if you get it or you want me to show how to use differentiation :)

when i replace 0 with x the 4 stays the same im not sure if i understand
