Factor completely 3x3 - 3x2 - 18x. 3x(x + 3)(x + 2) 3x(x + 3)(x - 2) 3x(x - 3)(x + 2) 3x(x - 3)(x - 2)

ik its not a or d

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Each equation has at least 1 'x' in it right? so we can factor one of those out \[\large x(3x^2 - 3x - 18)\] We also know that each term is divisible by 3 so we can factor out a 3 as well \[\large 3x(x^2 - x - 6)\] Now we can just factor the inside... what 2 numbers multiply to make -6 and also add to make -1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3 and 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its b

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

-3 and 2 so it's *C*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh lol thx
