Help please, give rectangular coordinates for the points(-5,2pi/3)

OpenStudy (perl):

Assuming those are polar coordinates you can use the conversion equations x = r cos Θ y = r sin Θ x = (-5) cos(2pi/3) y = (-5) sin (2pi / 3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so x= 5/2 and y = -5sqrt(3)/2 ?

OpenStudy (perl):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :)
