Help with geometric series!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given the geometric sequence where a_1 = –1 and the common ratio is 7, what is the domain for n?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wio @jdoe0001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All integers where n ≥ 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@johnweldon1993 please this is my last problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well never mind then.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just asked you how to solve the problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you get the answer?

OpenStudy (sdfgsdfgs):

U can review everything johnweldon explained to u in ur last question. everything he said there should apply to this question as well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can see that, but I'm struggling to understand how to do so.

OpenStudy (sdfgsdfgs):

The domain here for the geometric series is the same as that for the arithmetic series because the reasoning is the same.
