OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't speak math sorry :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You just pull out something each term has in common. In this case, the x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay now what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2x-7y)(3x+4z)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You'd get fractions pulling out a 3. But you can do that. You can pull out anything really but then you'd have to divide each term by what you pulled out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x(2x - 7y) + 4z(2x - 7y) = (2x - 7y)(3x + 4z)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^?
