take 2 points on your line..and find the slope using slope formula : slope(m) = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) (6,0)...x1 = 6 and y1 = 0 (0,8)...x2 = 0 and y2 = 8 now we sub slope(m) = (8 - 0) / (0 - 6) slope(m) = 8/-6 = - 4/3 so our slope is 4/3 now we use point slope formula....y - y1 = m(x - x1) slope(m) = -4/3 (0,8)....x1 = 0 and y1 = 8 now we sub y - 8 = -4/3(x - 0) <=== point slope form

Thanks you

YW :)......I messed up on one line in there...just to clear it up...slope = -4/3...answer is the same
