WILL MEDAL AND FAN!!! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CHECK MY ANSWER? Question:Triangle ABC has been rotated 90° to create triangle DEF. Using the image below, prove that perpendicular lines have opposite and reciprocal slopes. You must show all of your work to receive credit. My Answer:To prove that perpendicular lines have opposite and reciprocal slopes we have to show the line CB is the opposite reciprocal of EF. Slope of line segment CB= 5-1/4-1=4/3 Slope of line segment EF= -1-(-4)/2-5=-3/3 or -1 So in this case perpendicular lines do not have opposite and reciprocal slopes.
