if you have a stated amount, and you receive more in a periodic fashion .... 

if you started with 5 dollars and got 3 dollars a week, how would you know how much money you got altogether in say 23 weeks?

Im retarded , so the 10 would distribute and you would subtract 10 from 85  so you'd get 75, so the equation would be 10x+75?
