Easy question but plz help ! Which exponential function describes the given sequence ? 3 , 9 , 27 , 81.. A) y= (-1/3)^x B) y= 1/3^x C) y=(-3)^x D) y=3^x
ok first look at the sequence, how does 3 get to 9? what happened to 3?
It was multipled by 3 ..
yes and 9 to 27 ?
Also multipled by 3
So it would be d ?
and 27 to 81 is also multiplied by 3
Yeah I get it now , it's d , thanks
now to make things easier, you can start look at your answer choices, the y value is the outcomes like 3, 9, 27, 82, ...... etc and the x value is the number of the 3,9,27.....etc like 3 is the fist number in the sequence and 9 is the second. you can eliminate 2 already. do you which 2?
sorry didn't see your reply but d is correct
Thanks again !
