OpenStudy (df001):

Does being muscular make you more tired in your daily life?

OpenStudy (capnkookcx):

Well I know that over exercise makes you tired and some body weight will make you tired. So I guess being muscular would make you more tired in your daily life.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It wouldn't necessarily make you more tired in day to day life. If you're referring to metabolic activity, then it's possible that a more muscular person uses more energy than a less muscular person; but it's important to keep in mind that a muscular person is probably more physically active and their bodies are able regulate their energy expenditure more effectively. I don't if that's what you're trying to get into, but otherwise I don't think being muscular would make a person more tired that usual. A well balanced body is designed to support itself, that's why you never skip leg day at the gym! Lol

OpenStudy (gnech):

Idk...but I know that being muscular gives you strength to have energy throughout the day.
