Using the ratio of perfect squares method, what is square root of 89 rounded to the nearest hundredth? Do not use your calculator to answer this question. Use the ratio of perfect squares method. (***Please help, I have no idea what the ratio of perfect square method is. I thought the answer was 9 because 9*9 is 81 and that's the closet to 89 I'm not sure because it's looking for a decimal number**)

Never heard of the method, but You can try geting closer to the right answer by using 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, etc.

I used the answer 9.43, seeing as it said something about rounding to the nearest hundredth. Thank you much @Frouzen
