OpenStudy (hysusonic):

how do i put arctan in a calculator?

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

arctan is just the inverse of tan

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

tan^-1=arctan

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

on your "tan" button you should see that on the top it says :tan^-1 " So you probably just have to press "shift" then the "tan" button

OpenStudy (hysusonic):

\[\tan^{-1} (-\frac{ \sqrt{3} }{ 3 })\] to be exact

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

go on google calculator click on INV then tan^-1 then enter that expression in the parentheses

Nnesha (nnesha):
