What is the slope-intercept form of the function that contains the points (3, 1) and (2, 9)? y = ?x + ?

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

M = slope and B = y intercept

oh yah .Okay I got it, thanks xD

OpenStudy (rhystic):

so slope is rise over run so take the y coordinates and subtract them over the x coordinates subtracted. : -> m = (1-9)/(3-2) that's your slope. as for B plug in a set of coordinates into the equation and utilize the slope you just found and solve for B. you should end up with 27.

@Rhystic I got y=-8x+25

OpenStudy (triciaal):

calculation error 25
